We will be going on vacation to Prescott AZ in 2 weeks. I was hoping that someone would let me know of some places for collecting or interesting places to visit. Thank you,

Copper basin is west of Prescott about 15miles if i recall right. Though not much cutting grade roughs can be found there. Lots of Copper minerals with tons of blues and greens can be found qiute easily. The road was not the best the last time i went up there, needed a truck to get in, no 4x4. The way in from Skull Valley is easier, but longer if you are coming from Prescott. East of Prescott valley, near Mayer, AZ you can collect Onyx which would siute general lapidary aspects qiute well.
