Copper basin is west of Prescott about 15miles if i recall right. Though not much cutting grade roughs can be found there. Lots of Copper minerals with tons of blues and greens can be found qiute easily. The road was not the best the last time i went up there, needed a truck to get in, no 4x4. The way in from Skull Valley is easier, but longer if you are coming from Prescott. East of Prescott valley, near Mayer, AZ you can collect Onyx which would siute general lapidary aspects qiute well. Both locations are in the book; Rockhounding Arizona. BAZ i am sure can add to your request, or check out his site from sites that may interests you. bigarizona.com/
