My brother in law just moved to Bailey Colorado recently and would like to do some hounding . He just bought a saw and a couple tumblers , does anyone know of any spots in that area worth checking out  Thanks a bunch !!! Harley / Agatemaggot |

if you go south thu fairplay and on down to buena vista there is a rock shop there ---- also another one if you head back towards colorado springs from that area ( buena vista) ---- lots & lots of granite/ mica / white quartz/etc. , little bit of gold dust down by fairplay, but haven't found much to cut and polish right there ( I've went to fairplay several times ) --- there are several good rock shows in that area -- just had one at buena vista and watch for the big shows in denver ------ "Joe" lives north of there ( ft. collins- prob 100 miles ) --- may want to touch base with him --- also another shop at the southern edge of colorado springs --- hope this helps
