I was recently told that in Alpena along the shores of Lake Huron, was a great rock hunting area. Just wondering if any of my fellow Michigander RTH'ers live in or near, or have visited Alpena. I'm planning a weed-end adventure in October, & thought maybe someone could recommend a beach area, or if you wanted to meet up, friends are always welcome! Any help is greatly appreciated...thanx Bob (keep on ROCKING!)
