I hope KD wins. Maybe she can use my tutorial and wrap it. So far nobody has used it to the point of wondering what to do with the final ends. I want to see what you can do with picture jasper Sands. A lot of people have seen your work. So far no one has laid down hard cash, but a lot of people have touched the same one. They need time to think of what they would like to do with it. Got to wire wrap some fossilized whale blubber today. That was a new one. Traded my wrap for a very delicate dial indicator with magnetic mount. It is good to .00001. I made out goo.

OK, hell, the grapes were sour anyway KD, your name is the best, and it's well deserved. Doc, I don't do much drilling, but that one deserves to be drilled and wraped, so nothing is covered up. So what does fossilized whale blubber look like, anyway? cookie

Cookie, a wrapped stone does not need to be drilled. Usually the drill hole needs to be covered to be drilled. Fossilized whale blubber looks like burgandy amber. NOt much to it.

Doc, I worded that wrong. I meant a hand made wire bail. But wrapped would be nice too.

unfortunately, my wire wrapping skills are zero to minus one.....two left hands, hand me the pliers (don't crush that dwarf)....
i am very pleased to announce, however, that i have sucessfully enrolled in a beginners metal arts course at the local school of art, so maybe i can do this cabojohn justice and set it properly in silver someday!
thanks, Sands!

Way cool, when it starts to slow down, I am going to set one of the cabs and send it to you. Jenne says hi and she wants to tell you the cabs are with our 14K gold chain display. Andy described his delight at your work, I also feel the same. KD, who is at no loss to give a compliment when it is warranted, I am sure will also say something like, nice. You gotta touch, now I gotta teach you how to do silversmithing. It is easy. I will walk you through your first solder joint. You do goo.
