like, nice goo....
virgin (?) piece of succor creek picture jasper, huh? can't wait to see what that looks like! (drops her ten foot pole..)
i was hoping to get to the grinder today but got some last minute orders....some people just wait til the LAST minute!
i got all my stuff done and wrapped today, i ended up stuffing that gem tree (for my mom) in a gift bag with some tissue paper for lack of a better idea (thanks, Herm.) so now i can get back to Rocks and beading...
thanks for all the encouragement for the metal class AND for my recent batch of rocks. (Cher, that second photo is some tiger eye i cut kinda funny, but they turned out pretty nice and will make a few nice pendants...)
can't wait to see Nutmeg Nebula up close and personal, know it will be fabulous!
what is everyone doing this next week? parties? traditions?
KD

i was hoping to get to the grinder today I haven't sat down at the grinder in so long, I'm not sure if I even know how to use it anymore! I will be so glad when the holidays are over. My house looks like Santa's workshop. Half strung necklaces, pieces of wood hanging by cup hooks on coat hangers from the ceiling fan and shower curtin rod. Another project hanging on a lamp. Be glad to get all these Christmas presents finished and am oh so thankful that we are doing Christmas on New Year's Day this year. This is the year the kids go to the in-laws for Christmas. That extra week is going to be much needed to finish everything. Then I can sit down at the grinder again and hopefully, do better at those bevels! And be interested in sanding and polishing instead of just shaping the rocks! llana
