It takes me a while but I usually get the way things work...eventually. So here's my info in a new thread. I'm a transplanted western Canadian now living in New Hampshire (granite rough anyone?). I'm 41 (dangerously close to 42) married quite happily to a wonderful man who built me a tumbler from spare printer parts and a motor he had "laying around". It works like a dream. I have a toddler, two cats and enjoy all sorts of crafting including knitting, crocheting, beading, jewelry making and silk painting. I've had happy times lately as I've been able to combine several of these hobbies together to make some really cool stuff. Rock tumbling just seems to be a natural extension to the rest of what I enjoy. I wish I could say I have a favorite stone, but the truth is I'm enormously fickle about them and lust after whatever the last pic someone posts here is.

Hey Skipper...geez...I didn't think anyone would be interested enough to reply so I never checked back. I'm up to Canada about twice a year and man...I miss the smell of Saskatchewan dust...I miss the crunch of the snow when it's 60 below and it's a dry cold...you know what I mean? It's odd how you get attached to geography. And here in NH it's lovely...it really is. But you have to look up to see the sky...it's just not the same.
