Hi Andy buddy, I have been away for a week and just got back this evening. Sorry it took so long to answer. I took a chance on the rocks in the vibe and trusted my daughter to keep an eye on them. They look great as they have been in final polish for 12 days. It is a batch of mook cubes and other assorted stuff. There is a little rose quartz and green quartz and a few other odds and ends. I will hopefully be able to post a few pics to the project cubeX thread soon. Talk to you later, Don

cookie3rocks: After doing some Google research, I think mook is jasper from Mook Station, Australia. Of course, I could be wrong.

Hi cookies3 & mazanec. Welcome to the board! Not a dumb question cookies3. I don't think there is any one person who could know all the rock types there are out there, there are so many. mazanec, you nailed it. It is also called Mookaite. It is silisified ancient river bed mud from Mook Station Australia. Cool stuff, talk to you later, Don

Well, here is a pic of me and my little rock buddy Alyssa, my granddaughter. I was so young when I had her mother, I was still a kid myself. Well, I guess I'm still a kid at heart ;D. My wife liked this pic a lot, says it shows how much I love that little squirt, and how happy she has made us by coming into our lives. Sorry if that sounds mushy Talk to ya later, Don

well i don't think it sounds mushy at all - but i'm seriously sentimental where kids are concerned anyway.

Thanks guys, she is fascinated by that clock. We wind it together, every hour she usually wants to watch it dong, you ought to see the look on her face when it does. Her eyes get great big and she puts her little hand over her mouth. It's as cute as can be. Talk to you later, Don
