(Guess I should have done this first.) I am a young 45 yr old who finally got a real hobby. I manage a retail outlet store in GA and am about to celebrate my 2 year anniversary to Mr. Right. Finally on that one too! He gave me a vibrating rock tumbler for my most recent birthday and though my first batch is not yet completed, I am hooked! So looking forward to learning and growing with all of you! Maybe one day I'll step into the 21st century and get a digital camera so I can post pics. See you on the Boards,

Hi Cookie , great pic. Is that a Bass you play in the band or do you sell them in your shop?

It's a Bass (like the fish) shoe store that I manage. Not named after the fish, but after the man, George Henry (G.H.) Bass. Ever heard of us? Remember the Weejun penny loafers? We still carry them!

*waves to Cookie*
Cool! We're in the same state (I'm near Atlanta. )....and about the same age! ;D (I'm 44) Glad to see another Georgian on the forums!
I ordered my tumbler and supplies today from The Rock Shed. I can't wait for it to arrive! I've started setting up my "tumbling" workstation today so I can crank up the tumber as soon as I get it out of the package!
