Ok...3 1.5 tumblers. Should I reserve one and run it empty for the polishing step?

Or fill all 3 and be a patient grasshopper?

I have some pretty smooth quartz and amethyst for one 1.5 barrel....Green Adventurine for another....and another barrel of quartz and amethyst that's pretty sharp.
