I prefer a 3lb hammer! WHY?? Because the fracture on my finger is a cleaner break and cost less to set -therefore saving in medical costs and health insurance..You will find that hammers of a lesser weight (when striking a finger) sometimes cause compound fractures and will drive up the cost your medical insurance..I mostly use newspaper to cover the rock-the Tampa Bay Sports page - you see-the sports page usually tells of the most recent BUCS loss--It's not a pleasant sight..
