The good Agates are found on the Yellowstone from Miles City to the North Dakota border . Look for Gravel bars or just walk the Gravel roads or roadcuts ,also gravel piles. We have alot of agates on the Missouri but not near as nice !

Are you tying to register your user name as 2 words? I do not think that will work.

Are you trying to register a user name that is already being used?

Have you already registered under another name?
If you do not like the name you registered under, sign in and change your name (This is the displayed name that people will see.) under profile.

The following is from the HELP area.
Where is my password?
When you register, you must enter a valid email address. You will then be emailed your password for your account, which will be randomly generated. You can then login to the board and change your password to something else on the profile page.

I've cut and tumbled my share of Montana agate and it's been one of my all time favorites.You can't believe how I hoard the stuff!!LOL

I went into a buying frinzy a couple months ago and bought just about all that Ebay had to offer.I really melted some plastic for about 3 months and when my financial director (wife)got the bills she put a hold on my spending habbits!!LOL

Shorty , I live in north central Mont. about 250 miles east of Missoula . A little town called Big Sandy. My son teachs in Missoula ,so we are over there alot . We have good rock hunting in our area ! lots of pet wood ,jasper and agates >But the best agates are to the south on the Yellowstone river . I live close to the Missouri river ,the Lewis & clark trail !! We do alot of fossil collecting around our area also ! Later Glenn
