Hi folks,

Ran across this site a few weeks ago and after lurking in the shadows, decided to join.

I'm returning to the hobby after quite a few years. Some of my best childhood memories are of the times my dad and I went rockhounding in the deserts of Arizona. Now that I'm a father myself, I hope to gently introduce my eight-year old son to the fun of rockhounding and tumbling.

I have a Lortone 4.5 lb. unit and have run 3-4 batches through it, with another in the 60/90 stage right now. I've already learned a lot from the people on this forum and I look forward to learning much more!
