I have just started to get into the tumbling thing. I found out that my great grandfather was into it. Now I am having to find relatives to see if they have anything he did. I love to search for the rocks it gives the kids something to do also.

I'm rather new here too, and feel funny about saying welcome, but I live in Utah, and spent Saturday out picking up Jasper, Red Agate, and Celestite Geodes! Now to work 'em Happy Tumbling. Jeff |

Hi Amie, welcome to the forum. Rock hunting is a great hobby to get your kids into. It's a great way to introduce kids to nature, I love taking my grandkids out.

Welcome aboard Amie...I am also from Texas...around the College Station area. Been doing the tumbling thing for a long time now..almost a whole 6 months.
You will find all kinds of good help here...lots of good people always willing to help out us newbies..
