Hello,
I just learned of this place yesterday (Feb. 19th, 05). I have been a rockhound for about fifteen years now and have been tumbling rocks for about the same amount of time. I have always loved rocks, but as a child, my parents could not afford to get me into this great hobby. Now that I am an adult (I think), this is what I like to do. I have several tumblers, rotary, and vibrating. My polished rocks number in the thousands. I especially like the Condor agates, hence my name. I must give thanks to another cyber-friend from another RVing website whose initials are AH for having referred me to this site. Rock on!

Hi Condor, Welcome to the forum. Don't think I've ever seen a condor agate, can you post some pics in the photo forum?

Thanks Rosebud,
I took a couple of pictures of the Condor Agates and have them on my PC, but I don't have a website. Is it possible to still submit the pics? How is it done?
Thanks

Welcome Condor, those are definitely some beutiful rocks to work with! You can sign up with Photobucket for free and put your photos there. The third box underneath your picture will have the exact code that all you need to do is copy and paste into your post and Voila!

Wow, those really are some cool agates Condor. Hey, keep me posted on the softball sized polishing. I just found some cool baseball sized stuff w/ tons of fossils in them and think it would great to give them a quick ride in the vibe. They really are almost perfectly round and very smooth. Maybe a few days in the vibe will get me where I want to be.
keep in touch and let me know how things are progressing.
