I am a Psychiatric nurse from a small East Texas town. I bought a kiddy kit to try my hand at tumbling, and have enjoyed reading more on the internet.
I am also dieting, so for every 5 pounds I lose I am going to treat myself to some type of rock tumbling equipment or supplies.
I would like to have a rock to tumble from every state. If you are interested in sending me one, reply here with your email address and I will send you my home address.
Thanks for reading. I am a total virgin, so if my questions seem dumb... well they are just ignorant! LOL

Welcome, Texmom! I'm also from a small Texas town, VERY small! I live in Medina, in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. If you were interested in local flint, or petrified wood from our great state, I could send you some. Let me know.
Which small town are you from?

Hi, If you have questions about tumbling and rocks you found the right place. I probably would have threw up my hands in fustration a long time ago with out this board. What a clever idea about rewarding yourself with a new rock related purchase, wish I would have thought of that a couple years ago when I got rid of my extra baggage.
