I'm also FormerBeachcomber, but I couldn't remember my password and ended up finding this username and all the passwords. I like this one better, but couldn't get it to come up when I looked for it before I created my FormerBeachcomber acct. With my challenges, I don't like to dwell on the past.

I see that I never posted with this name, just signed up and read posts with it when I first found the boards. I guess I was just too shy to post in the beginning. Wendy

Okay, here's a re-introduction. I'm Wendy, a 36 year old mom to 3 boys ages 4, 12, and 14 (due to divorce and health problems only the 4 y.o. lives with me full time). I started rock hunting at a young age on the beaches of the Puget Sound in NW Washington, but didn't learn the joys of rock tumbling until my mom bought her first rock tumbler a couple of years ago. That lead to me purchasing a Lortone 45C last November. Then in Feb of this year I was relocated to where my 2nd DH grew up in NE Colorado. I figured that since he lived in WA (where I grew up) for 5 years, I could give CO a try. I miss the rocks one can find on the PS beaches, but am finding some nice river rocks here. Wendy

Colorado is a beautiful place Wendy, hopefully you won't have to much problem finding good rocks to tumble. At least you're close to states that you know have good stuff. *smile*

Thanks Cher... now all I have to do is convince hubby that taking me to those good places could be fun for the whole family. I don't drive anymore due to a medical condition.
