Hi - I'm not unfamiliar with this website. I've breezed through quit a few times because my hubby is already a member ! We've been doing the tumbling things for the past 13 months and we really enjoy it. It started out as a family hobby, now it's just the two of us that are really into the hobby. The kids enjoy the rock hounding trips and camping trips we do to collect out stash.
I'm just in the beginning stages of making jewelry and figurines. I'm apprehensive to start a project because I'm not quit sure how to start some of my projects. I look through books at stores, I look through Rock Lovers Websites (obviously) and have books of my own (Thanx to my hubby). If any of you have some advice, I would love you hear it !

Welcome to the forum Mrs Tell! Hope you don't mind that since we just call your hubby "tell". *smile* (Let us know what you prefer to be called) That's so great that you're interested in the hobby along with your hubby, it can make it so much more enjoyable. You'll have to take some pics of what you make, everyone loves to look at pics. Best thing I can tell you about working with wire is to get some copper or craft wire to practice with and look at lots of pics. I did lots of reading and looking at pics on the net before I started. Again, welcome to the forum!!
