hello , I'm new to the forum but have plenty of experiance . I have rocks slabs from all over mostly about a ton of petoskey stones I uassally cut and polish then set in silver to be sold so I can find or buy more. you know the never ending cycle .

Hi Yeahda1. I've been finding a few Petoskey stones every time I go out rock hunting. I'm trying to find enough to warrant a project to make something from them. Are you in Michigan?

yes I am from Michigan,and I do look for petoskey stones. mostly in the spring before all the tourists arrive I am in the Frankfort area.

I have only cast a few items as yet but I do have 4 casting machines most of my settings are done trough silver smithing

Frankfort, that's over by Benzonia isn't it? That's where Gwen Frostic lived before she died. We have a lithograph that she made of some ducks that I bought some 25 years ago. Great area!

HI,I am new but I enjoyed this site for awhile. I have been collecting agates and anything you can find with a strip.Now it's time to start cutting.I went out yesterday (allday) and came home without anything . but...Sunday will be better.
