I've already posted a couple of times without introducing
myself.
My name is Jeff, and I have been collecting rocks for about 15 years. Mainly for landscaping around the house. I work in underground construction so I am constantly digging up a variety of rocks. I even have the guys on my crew that used to think I was a little nuts
picking up rocks and fossils to take home to their kids.
Just recently, I started to develop an interest in classifying and polishing some of them, hence my joining of this board.
Right now I'm waiting for some time off to go to the UP
to look for some Lake superior Agates.

dandresow: Thanks. Haven't done anything with rocks for years. Just fixed an older HP 18 inch and dug out a 10 inch and 18in Lortone and I have a couple of trim saws and need to make something to cab with. We stay broke and I only have enough to put oil in 1 Dec 1, 2024 16:49:20 GMT -5 *
