New to this place, but I been tumbling rocks for years, just thought I join a group.
I have to say after looking at a lot a lot of the post here, looks like a great place to hang out and talk about rocks...

Welcome to the forum Kim, always nice to have someone else who's been tumbling for awhile. It's interesting to learn other's recipes or trial runs.

I am also new and I'm wondering where you hunt for agates? I'm picking up this hobby from my grandfather, now deceased and unavailable for tips. Smadelinker

Welcome both of you! Smade- Most of us are confined to purchasing agates- but those lucky westerners (and mid westerners) often hunt them up- Best place to look is where agate has been found in the past- Get your self a good rockhound book (many states have books on trips and mines that will tell you where to hunt for what!)
