Smade- Most of us are confined to purchasing agates- but those lucky westerners (and mid westerners) often hunt them up- Best place to look is where agate has been found in the past- Get your self a good rockhound book (many states have books on trips and mines that will tell you where to hunt for what!)

I can't tell if thats some Gneiss Schist, or that Schist is Gneiss. All I know is don't take it for Granite

dandresow: Thanks. Haven't done anything with rocks for years. Just fixed an older HP 18 inch and dug out a 10 inch and 18in Lortone and I have a couple of trim saws and need to make something to cab with. We stay broke and I only have enough to put oil in 1 Dec 1, 2024 16:49:20 GMT -5 *
