Welcome to the board Cina, I think you will find that this board is filled with a plethora of information and some of the nicest people you ever wanted to meet!! ;D I've only been here about a week, but I have learned more about this hobby in that time than I ever thought existed. Until I came here, I thought it was only looking for and polishing rocks. Boy was I wrong!!!
Anyways, glad to have you here and I hope you will find all that you seek here!!!! ;D ;D

Thank you I am very happy to be here =) I found A huge amount of red agate in all kinds of forms and now just don't know what to do with it so I hope to get some pics up soon to get ideas from everyone... I found one(red agate I think) that looks like a ball and it makes noise when I shake it should I brake it open???

Please do get some pics posted. As far as breaking that one open, I don't know, maybe someone else can chime in on that.

Hi Cina and welcome. I like the last sentence in your first post! My wife and I have probably missed some great scenery on hikes because we always have our eyes on the rocks!
As far as your red agate goes you might want to see if your local rock club (if there is one) can cut it open with their saw (if they have one). Otherwise you can pick up a great saw that a lot of folks here use from Home Depot. It is the Workforce tile saw, going for 100 bucks or so.

Hi Cina, welcome to the forum. ;D Unless you're on cement, is there any other way to walk except with your head down?
