Hello RTH family. My name is Bob, I'm 57 years young, married to the same beautiful lady for 37 3/4 years, father of 4 & grandfather of 6. I live in southwest Michigan (real close to Grand Rapids, for you map lookers) I am a rockhead thru & thru, love 'em!......been lurking in the shadows here for a couple of years now. Soooo I have to THANK each & everyone of you for the wealth of info shared for everyones benefit. & the upmost respect & kindness shown towards each other. I own a Lortone 33b & a 10 slab saw ( really a novice with both) plan on buying a home depot tile saw real soon & would love to get some type flat lap equipment. Right now I put my rocks in rock garden & let 'em look pretty! SO I"M PROUD TO YOUR NEWEST MEMBER!!!!

Claimjumper, Let me be the first to welcome you aboard. This is a great site and lots of information to be had, even for us older gents! I am 62 years young, and glad to share my life with my wife of 42 years. I am heavily into the Fairburn Agate scene, making lamp shades, sun catchers and spheres all out of rock. What a life! The Beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota is my home, and has been since 1966.

:)THANKS to ALL for the welcome. My experience was learned by listening to you guys & gals. As far as keeping quiet & in the background for 2 years, just wanted to see what you were all about. I visited west central Texas the 2 weeks before the Woodward Blitz, and was so jealous because as I was driving the motor home back to Michigan, the "blitzers" were just arriving to have their fun!

Hey Claimjumper, glad you've made your presence known. I love hearing about couples who have been married for decades! It's a great example for us younger couples. My wife and I have been married 10 1/2 years. I suppose I'm not THAT young any more. Have a top day Mike
