Welcome!! 30 days is good time in a rot But yes you can speed up the last stages with a vibe but you still have to shape with the rot. Steph

Welcome aboard E. Good luck with the Ammy and be sure to ask plenty of questions when you need to. Dan

Welcome, Ind. I'm new in tumbling too, but I quickly understood one fact: those 30 days are just for catching the newbies in the net. Expect to last a lot more, especially if you begin with sharp edged rocks.

Welcome to the board.
30 days!? Only 30 days if you start with rocks that are already round and perfectly smooth and the exact size you want! Settle in for the long haul. Tumbling takes TIME and lots of it.
If you want to speed things up, get a bench grinder with silicone carbide grinding wheels and pre shape your rocks. A lot os us do it.
Have fun learning.
Have a top day, Mike
