Hello, thanks for allowing me to join the forum, I know that I will enjoy my vists here, I have been interested in Lapidary now for only 18 months during which time I have built some of the equipment needed, trim saw, six wheel grinder and polisher. I have produced a number of Cabs using said equipmet, current project is a slab saw,
I am now looking to put some of my work into settings and am very interested in wire wrapping. Having looked at a few tutorials on the web I have had a modicam of success in wrapping a cab, I guess lots of practice will only improve my attempts.
I am still in the process of searching for hints and tips/tutorials but if any1 cares to guide me in the right direction I would be thankfull.
Best regards Andy

Thanks for the welcome KD, I will do my best to become an active member. here is a picture of my very 1st wrap, I realize that it is not the best ever done, it was done completely with 22 round sp wire, I am certainly not happy with a lot of the work and reckon I can only improve. here it is also my first at uploading a picture to a thread, so here's hoping Andy

Welcome! What's the stone in the wrap? And that looks a whole lot better than my very first wrap! I like it a lot.

Hi Andy, Welcome! There are lots of very talented & experienced wire wrappers here who can certainly help you out. I am a novice wrapper myself & am already picking up good information. This is a great forum with lots of nice people.

Welcome Andy. Scotland, that must be a beautiful place. Like to go someday. Tell us a little about yourself if you want. Take care,
