Use an old toothbrush to clean the rim of the barrel each time you're recharging or starting a new load. It works great!!

I use a toothbrush to clean the rim, but I also use a paper towel to dry. I find the paper towel removes whatever grit you might have hiding between the lip and the lid (which can cause leaks).

I take the plastic top off the top and use a Spin Toothbrush with soap and it seems to work great. And when you put the top on the barrel after you load your rocks if you used HOT water it keeps a good seal so nothing tries to seep out.

No, Tweet.
I'm not the one who uses my rock spin brush to brush my teeth. I have my own and I bought a 2.00 dollar special for my rocks at wollyworld(walmart) He He.
