Hi all. Just learned a cool trick for marking stones. For example, you want to cut a section out of a slab to make a cab. A piece of aluminum ground to a point like a pencil will mark a line that won't wash off and is easy to see. You can purchase 1/8" alum rod stock at Home Depot and a lot of smaller hardware stores.

You might also try the same thing with a small brass rod. If the silver color of aluminum is hard to see on your materiaal the gold color of brass may just to the trick. Tom
