tim i've heard that is a good beginners unit but if you splurge and get the genie you won't regret it.

have seen the genie in action, would reccomend it blind
my small cabbing machine is a old 4 wheel pixie that works great ( galaxy cutting wheels, nova polish wheels , and we love it) and is usable inside without huge mess, the other unit i have is a frantom 8 and 10 inch and the wet and overspray makes it a garage unit.
the large wheels seem to do a better roughing and flat siding , edging, bigger wheel makes flatter surface( corundum wheels) I tried the cheap way when i first started cabbing and bought a cheap 10 inch flat lap, takes way too much to do a single stone or touch up. changing the pads (glue down style sanding discs) and i wish i had just bought the pixie / genie from the get go, esp with the accessories the genie has.
mabye that might help from someone who has just started in earnst. Walrus
