My latest recipe is similar to Stephan's but I only went 3 weeks in the 120/220, no recharges, then tripoli or ao1000, then cerium oxide. I have had the best results with cerium oxide. Tin oxide was ok, but a little pricey, and only middling luck with aluminum oxide. The other polishes that I would like to try are titanium oxide/dioxide and CPP. I have heard others get good results with these polishes.

rockds: Stefan didn't recharge the 220 as he had sealed his lid - it's the clear lid he has as his avatar - he couldn,t peek as it was too much of a hassle to re-seal his lid!

Here's another question... How are you measuring the TSP/TBS of grit..how many scoops do you use, and what size tumbler? I've got the 3lb, and I've heard different opinions on how much grit I need to use. Come on experts, give me your advice. Thanks Steve

Alice, thanks! That's what I wanted to see! I heard as little as 1 TBS to as much as 5 TBS, for my 3LB. tumbler. I'll try the 4 TBS. Steve
