Nothing will help the C.E. belts, they are junk. I went to Fastenall company and bought new O rings that work great. I've had the same O ring on my 2 C.E. tumblers for just over a year. The slow speed on my C.E. is what made me change the pulleies, it worked so well that I changed them on all 8 of my tumblers..

I just dont understand what is the problem with the CE tumblers. I went through the factory belt with in 48 hours. ordered O ring belts from E-bay and went through 3 of them. They seemed factory fresh but snapped. I checked the pulley alignment very carefully and adjusted the motor position for firm tension (I hope). I used some machine oil on the shaft bearings, do you think the oil could be weaking the EPDM rubber? Anyway, I plan to replace the pulley (I bought a set of blocks but they are 1" so I'll have to pay more attention and get some 1 1/2") Bill

Bill - who did you get your o-rings from on ebay? I know the ones Junglelord sells are not the factory stock ones and they've held up pretty well for me.
Other people have used the lortone belt (check the rock shed for these) with great success...and still others have used vacuum cleaner belts, sewing machine belts, etc. When you replace the pulley, you'll need a different sized belt anyway...

Like I said I went to fastenall and bought 15 belts, of the bigger size for the new pulleys and they haven't broken yet. You can also buy belts from a place called Grainger, they sell all kinds of stuff for shops. That way you don't have to wait for them to be shipped either.
