I finally got tired of changing the rubber bands my dual 3# and remembered that someone had mentioned trying rubber o-rings. I found that NAPA -the auto parts store- has rubber o-rings in all sizes. They were relatively cheap at $1.29 each and I picked up 3 extras for spares. The stock/size number for 3/16" dia. rings was #239 if anyone wants to give them a try - they are a tad smaller dia. than the regular C.E. replacements but work just as well.

Thats cool. I went to Fastenall and bought 10 orings for $8. Then last summer I went there to get some bigger ones after I changed pulleys on a few tumblers and they wanted to soak me for almost $59 for 5 orings that were 8" in diameter. I was told I had to special order them from the maker. Nededless to say I told the guy to go get bent, but not in those terms..
