Hello,
Anybody having problems making the round rocks stable while cutting them? I have that problem and don't know how to solve it. I'm thinking to encase the rock in plaster (and, of course, to mold the plaster into a cubic shape). Did anyone try it? My only fear is that the soft plaster might clogge the blade.
Any other ideas?
Thank you,
Adrian

Adrian...a while back, someone did a tutorial on encasing rock in plaster. I'm thinking it was a member called bitterbrook. Can't remember where or when, but someone here will point you in the threads direction!

I've had pretty good luck using plaster of paris. Use a half gallon milk carton and peal off the carton after it sets. The plater doesn't hurt the blade and breaks off easily. Before each cut you need to check the end to make sure that there are no loose rocks that can roll and bind your blade.

Thank you both. I made some searching and i found the tutorial bitterbrook posted a while ago. I brought it up, since I think it's useful for many of us, the newer members.
