I'm looking for a source for tumbling grit in 50 lb quantities. I am familiar with Kingsley North. Any other places? In particular I need 220 and 600.
Thanks in advance for your help!

50 lb quantities - have you tried Miles Supply? I can't remember which section of their site it's in, but the had the best price on bulk 60/80, so it couldn't hurt to check their price on the higher grits as well.

You will always pay more for finer grits and graded grits. Broad range grits (60/90, 120/220, 3F, 500F and 800F) are considerably cheaper than their graded counterparts. In a tumbler I don't think it matters. A lot of flat lappers use graded grits and say it makes a difference. Also, all of my suppliers recently raised their grit prices so don't rely on catalog or website prices. Call and get a current price. The "prices subject to change" notices are there for a reason. Also, get a price with shipping which isn't going to be cheap because of the weight. The cheapest supplier for graded grit out here is Diamond Pacific. Their 220 lists for $122.60 and their 600 lists for $273.65. Shipping to CO Springs would run $35 to $40 per 50lb. bucket.
