Tring to polish obsidian in a TV10. Went thru 120/220 after tumbling in a rotary tumblerfor 6 days, then in 400 for 5 days, then AO prepolish for 4 days, then CO for 5 days. No shine at all.
Then put ing AO polish for 5 days and still no polish. I am using about a pound and 1/2 of plastic pellets in the batch.
Any suggestion on what to try next. The only thing that I can think of is that I don't have enough small pieces in the batch but thought that the pellets would take care of that.
