Hi All,
I've been away for a few days,,,,,(as if anyone noticed LOL) .
My wife had surgery last Wednesday and I've been going crazy between work, handeling my mom and dads estate (they choose me as executor) and of course visiting my wife at the hospital.
Nancy had very bad circulation in both legs so she had to ave it taken care of.The doc did one by-pass now and will do the other between Christmas and New Years. (not something to look forward to)
I brought her home today as she had a fantastic recovery in the hospital. All of the nurces said it had to be a miricle that she recovered that fast! She's sleeping on the couch right now so I thought I'd sneak away for a few minuets to say HI!
As our luck would have it Nancy had a phone call yesterday for a job interview after loosing her job last June. We're both praying that the job will wait for her as money is getting to the critical point here. There's NO way we can make it on my pay alone so ,,,,,,,,,,,,God willing the job WILL wait.
Our dog Homer missed Nancy very much and when I brought her home he went nuts! It's been hard keeping him from jumping on her (on the couch) as all he wants to do is lick her alllllll over!He won't leave her side.
It's funny how things happen to us as we go along in life and our priorities change as we get older. For the first time since I started tumbling all 8 of my tumblers are standing perfectly still without making a single sound. My saws are shut down and my rocks are just sitting there hoping to become all polished up and happy.
Nothing matters to me right now except to see Nancy get well and be without pain.I want to see her smile as before and just be happy again.
Tom
