a few days away from Christmas with the new year just around the corner. It is hard to believe 2004 is almost at an end, seems like just last week I joined the forum, although it was in January! This year has just flown by. Hasn't been a hugely eventful year for me, but for some of you - WOW! New babies, new jobs, new houses and for all of us here, new friends along with our new hobby/addiction! I just wanted to say what a pleasure it has been for me to be here and come to know everybody. Although I've not seen most of you face to face and wouldn't know you on the street, you are all valued friends and I am looking forward to more exciting adventures in rock tumbling in 2005! Earlier this year we briefly talked about a gathering at the Tuscon rock show in January - then nothing much happened. Since it is way too late for any of us to make that, I am proposing that we seriously plan a get together sometime this year. We REALLY, REALLY need to do this! It would be such fun to all get together! So, I think that should be at the top of each of our New Year's resolution list and one that we should keep! So, here is my list of New Year's Resolutions! 1) RocktumblingHobby forum get together!! 2) Try to manage my time better 3) Make lots of jewelry and hit the flea markets, put stuff on consigment 4) Eat better 5) Quit smoking 6) Make use of the great exercise room we have here 1 & 3 I can probably do with little effort - the rest, well, who knows! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!AND A VERY HAPPY AND PROPEROUS NEW YEAR!!!llana

Llana. I wish I had something to say to add to the heart of what you are saying. It has been an honour to have met us. Through thick and thin. One of the most impressive parts of this forum, and the folks I have met, is we are dedicated to finding the best way and passing it on. We welcome the newcomers so they do not get lost. We remain available to share what we have learned the hard way. I am grateful to be a part of what we do. I have gas, so I cannot write too much more. The difficulty is I have a penchant for really nasty pizza, complete with furry fish, everything spicey, and I know no limits except when I have eaten the whole thing. I especially like the green tabisco sauce and the red shake on peppers with a volitile pizza that makes the eyes water. This is what I call a reward after dealing with lousey repair jobs, impossible stone settings, white punks trying to act like gang bangers, and gas. There is no relief for this. Tonite, I will have dreams that bring me back to the days of light my fire! Then there is always the burning bush, except it is not a bush. And it does burn, everytime I sit. Gotta go and complain. I like the attention.

Llanna, You and many others on this forum have brought me to a wonderful place. A place of compassion, understanding, tolerence, wisdom and a search for the truth. Regardless of wiether my ideas and/or beliefs were accepted or chastised, in the end, it made me think, study, make fact based decisions. We have all been allowed to express ourselves freely here. I am on a personal journey and this forum has helped me more than any of you will ever know. Mostly rocks, sometimes musings, it's great to have a place to go where you know it's gonna be OK, and maybe you can help someone in some small way. Blessings to all of you rockheads, and much thanks for sharing your wisdom. Let the light shine! Blessed Be! Merry Christmas!

Thank you all for all the help and encouragement you've given me. God Bless you all! May your holidays be all you want them to be and your New Year safe and prosperous.

Hey Llana, I'd like nothing better than to be able to talk to you in person about our rocks. Getting together does seem like a natural progression. I feel like I've gotten to know some of you so well. I hope to have my motorhome back running in the spring so I'll be ready. Just name the time and place.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hannakuh, and hope you all have a great new year! Oh, and yeah, "Om Mani Padme Hum".
