Thanks for the well wishes. They mean a lot to my wife and I. I am a little anxious. I am worried about my teeth, I believe there are two reasons to see a surgeon. One is to have a baby, the other is to die. I believe the tsunami, and earthquake are the start of the next ELE, and Ice AGe, and most important everybody knows Jimmi did not say, Excuse me while I kiss the sky!!! He said Excuse while I kiss dis guy! It is polititians and Drs., that all want our money, freedom, and are trying to make us into herd animals! Take the streets! It is a full moon soon. I think it will be full, sooner or later... The electricals have been telling me the polititians are going to move the moon soon. The tidal flow will cease and the ocean level will rise 18ft with no tide. We are going to all be statistics, except there will be no one to write it all down. We are doomed.

all these doctors and dentists are merely technicians, they are no better or worse than anyone else. they have a skill, they do a job. once upon a time, they had a "calling" and actually CARED. but that is long gone, now you got to look out for yourself, manage your own agenda and most importantly ASK QUESTIONS. cuz we aint a herd, we are important (if only to our own selves and the people that love us).
hey i took my first metal arts class today!! we got to play with fire and hammers!! i was having WAY too much fun!

You will love it. I love watching solder flow under magnification. I like the control of the flow undermagnification. YOu will love it.

Desire and vision are great teachers. I am self taught. I tried jewelery school and they only teach how to do simple things with simple tools. I only went one week. As a rear note, I have met some of the grads during the time. I am the only one who went to the school who is actually working in the field. Soldering is easy to learn. A book will show you how to do it. You have to practice untill you can do it for someone else. Stone setting is in a book. You have to practice untill you get it right. The internet is a tremendous source for teaching. I use search and go for it.

Time is approaching. The clock is ticking. I do not want to make Sands head real big, but, I will have one of his stones in my pocket. I do not know why, but I think it is the right thing to do. I am also going to try to sneak some of my teeth out and make jewelery out of them. Hah! Yeah, I am nervous, but I met the surgeon and he has steady hands and a look of genuine concern. I have confidence in him. Thanks for all the well wishes. It really helps.

I just came back from the Drs. The nurses were dropping things, they weren't sure which teeth stayed for the lower dentures, They have me on some medication to start pain lowering, and they only make me stupid. They were about to start the IV drip, and stopped and told me to come back later today. Oiy! I hope the full moon is not working over time today. I go back at 1:00 this after noon. I wish it had been done then and I would be healing now, and I am feeling a little anxiety. Oiy, oiy, oiy.

Doc, last night i dreamed all my teeth fell out and a big bird ate some of them. I interpret that as my unconcious mind saying "herm..you insensitive lout...you forgot to wish doc good luck". Now that it's over doc, may I wish you a speedy and pain free healing process, followed by years of big smiles with beautiful teeth. I'm thinking of you!

I am returned. All went very smoothly. I guess, they needed to hit reset. It was a major job, and took about an hour and an half. Everything went without an hitch. I am virtually in a position of being painless. The choppers are in, and they cushion the sutures. I am doing some heavy meds for the pain, and having an artificial knee, I had to get some heavy antibiotics. 10$ a tab. Wow. Very little swelling, very little bleeding, and I am just keeping quiet letting the surgery heal. Thanks to all my friends. I guess Sands stone made the difference. Now he can claim his stones have healing powers.

I am an alcoholic. Benzodiazapan directly stimulate the body's craving for alcohol. It has been almost two decades since my last drink. I do not know what they used, but it worked. I went out, and had no memory of the work done. My body also did not go into extreme healing. Whatever they used, it worked better than any anesthesia I have had before. Day two, and no issues. I am on pain medication and all I feel is tired. The dentures feel loose but I suspect that is from the upper and lower jaws reshaping them selves. So far so good, but I do want a good steak. It will be a while.

Sounds good - whatever you got then - thats what I get with Valium, conked out, no memory of events or pain - nothing - no need for needles and all that rubbish. (Although I get the feeling that for the next set of treatment the dentist is probably going to try my nerves out without V - so Im avoiding going Just a sensation of coming round all of a sudden and babbling a bit (although I dont know what about) I'm sure you'll get the steak in good time. Dentists - my worst nightmare - youve been through it. Hero. I'll just keep avoiding I think.....

avoiding the dentist for so long is what got me in my periodontal predicament that i am suffering with now..don't wait, Andy, go now, tell the guy about your concerns and if he won't give you Valium ask him about other options he can offer. if he can't offer anything, time to find a new dentist. i realize that isn't as easy as it sounds, but you really need to take care of your teeth or you will be in Doc's situation before you know it!
i am desperately trying to hang onto my own teeth for as long as i can! i'd be in a better fighting position if i hadn't avoided the dentist for so many years!

So glad it went well, Doc. Have you smiled at yourself in tne mirror yet? Bet it looks nice ;D Years ago I had some minor sugery that they said they were using a new anasiesia as I tend to upchuck with anything morphine based. It was a combination of valium and something eles. I woke up after sugery like I had just had a good nights sleep. Maybe that's what they gave you. Did you flirt with the nurses, like my late husband did? Happy Healing! cookie

I am very grateful for todays medicine. I had spent years going to dentists. In the public, my smile was paramount. I went to Alaska and got frozen. My teeth froze into the bones. All the modern dental work I had stayed the same size, and the teeth shrunk when they froze. They all snapped into the bones, and even when each one was pulled, each socket had to be cleaned of tooth fragments. The tissue on the bones, blended with each tooth. I got frozen so badly, the bones in my right sinus came through the skin over my right temple. I never really liked dentists, although I never had trauma like I got after the freezing. It seems like something has changed, and dentists seemed to be locked into a pattern. I would tell them, they would see the X-rays, and do the extraction like they always did. The complications were unbelieveable! I even had one dentist fracture my hard palate! A person cannot go to an Oral Surgeon without a referral. I have had to go to dentists and they would not refer me. They were sure they could do the work. They wanted to save me money. They broke bones. This time it was almost the same, except, I work next to a vendor who is an infection instructor for a lot of dentists in this area. He made the calls, I went to a dentist for the X-rays and dentures, he sent me to the Oral Surgeon. Years of that misery are now over. He tried to get me to have him do the work. He even said it would be less expensive than a surgeon. When the surgeon found out we were paying cash, he reduced the bill and it came out 200$ cheaper than the dentist. His bill included the anesthesiologist! I am going to send an e-mail to the company and thank them for the quality service the surgeon performed. He really made the difference. I should be back in my shop Friday morning ready to fix jewelery. When I got home, no blood, no swelling, no barfing, no sickness, no pain. It is done, it is over, no more tooth pain. Now I gotta get used to choppers. One of the charistics of my voice is I almost had a cleft palate when I was born. It changed my voice so when I sang I had more resonance than other people. Now, I have a contemporary hard palate and I have to learn how to swallow, talk, and just relax. Life is change.
