Hey everyone. The Calif state quarters just hit the streets this week and there was an article in the paper that said it's gonna be hard to find them here.(go figure). If anyone works in a bank or knows of someone who does, I am looking to buy a roll and will gladly pay shipping and throw in some nice agates for your troubles. Thanks
Ed

I'll trade you some Aluminum Oxide polish. Wait a minute thats KD.

I'll have to check at our bank, I have 7 books that I need quarters for. I was told by one of the gals that the banks are sent quite a few rolls so maybe I can grab one.

Stoner-
Just talked w/ my sister in law who works in a bank here in Salt Lake and she said they never even get full rolls of State coins.
Sorry, I was really hoping to see some agates. I'm tired of looking at everyone else's masterpieces and want to try my hand at my own batch. Will keep trying.
Good luck,
Tim

Hey all. If any of you have any luck I'd be very grateful. And for those back east, if you're missing any Denver minted state quarters, let me know and I'll see if I have any extras. Keep trying.

Went to two banks today, one bank had $3.00 worth which I grabbed, the other bank hasn't gotten any yet. I asked the gal to let me know when they come in and requested a roll but that will depend on how many they get.

Before you know it, we'll have them all and they'll have to come begging from us for them. My daughter got one in her change today ... go figure!

Hey all. Well my wife had some sucess today. She's back in Washinton DC on business this month so she went directly to the source-The Mint. She was able to get rolls from both Denver and Philly, at 2 rolls/$32.50. Gotta pay those gov. salaries somehow But if anyone still comes across some rolls, my offer still stands. Ed
