Google has a neat new feature where you can switch to a satellite view from their maps. Besides finding your house and other familiar sites, it is also interesting to find landmarks and other interesting sites. Here are a few that I thought were interesting:
Kennedy Space Center visitor's complex:
maps.google.com/maps?ll=28.523962,-80.682081&spn=0.004946,0.007478&t=k&hl=en
To the left central, you can see a Saturn V rocket laying on its side. On the upper right is a Space Shuttle and next to it are its rocket boosters.
Hoover Dam:

Since we are in that area, here is the vegas strip. I am zoomed in on the Bellagio. Zoom out and check out the whole strip.

Yellowstone Park
Grand Prismatic Spring: maps.google.com/maps?ll=44.524938,-110.838790&spn=0.004946,0.007478&t=k&hl=en
Yellowstone Falls: maps.google.com/maps?ll=44.718218,-110.491712&spn=0.009892,0.014956&t=k&hl=en
Niagara Falls:

Washington D.C.
Capitol Building (interesting in that it is intentionally blurred out for security reasons): maps.google.com/maps?q=washington+d.c.&ll=38.890164,-77.009118&spn=0.009892,0.014956&t=k&hl=en

The Pentagon (I intentionally zoomed out so you can get an idea of just how big it really is): maps.google.com/maps?q=washington+d.c.&ll=38.870316,-77.056217&spn=0.039568,0.059824&t=k&hl=en
