Mark I hope you and yours are okay. Let us know when you can.

My prayers to the people of London, and extra prayers that there are no more attacks. This is so heart-breaking, Mark I hope you and all of your family are ok. Rose, I'm not sure where you are over there, I hope you and yours are all ok too. I know we have other rockhound friends over there but not sure who, I just hope you're all safe and none of your families were hurt. God Bless, Cher

We are up in Manchester, a long way from London. It very shocking seeing the pictures on the news.
We have some friends visiting London at the moment, they are ok but were lucky not to get caught up in it.
Hope the other UK'ers on the board are ok.

Too our partner in the war on terror, my prayers will be with the London people. Another barbaric attack on freedom. Freedom shall prevail. GOD BLESS LONDON.

I am a veteran. I am so disgusted at actions like this. There is sadness with soldiers killing soldiers. There is madness above anything imagineable when psychos kill innocents. There is nothing glamorous about war, killing, and violence in general. Would this have happened, here, and there if people were armed like we used to be? I certainly do not want to mix politics here. Violence is the weapon of the ignorant. I guess that decries what we have to live with today. I wonder what it will take. I am just sitting here, wondering..... The news are full of reports of the event. I am speechless. My heart is heavy.

If they come for me I'll at least go down defending my family- not huddled in a corner crying for mercy! oops sorry- did not mean to get into rant-

Floriduh has just passed a law allowing a citizen to defend himself. I am syked! I equate it to an honey bee. I bet not too many people mess with them just to be entertained. I am a jeweler, and carry either my Grizzly, with ported bbl, and slide with ported throat, 2.5lb trigger converted to .357, or my Dan Wesson with the 6"bbl with heavy shroud, extended sight picture, 2.5lb trigger single action, 6lb double action. A little know fact. In this country, schools are recquired to have shooting programs for all grades to 12, or, they cannot be accredited. Airline pilots were recquired to carry, as per federal law, and still are. It was never voluntary. Truck drivers are recqired to carry if they go interstate. It goes on, and on. I do not think, a single armed citizen here, or there could stop a crazy bomber. That is still something else altogether. And people here, and there are still wounded and dead, and wrechage is still being cleaned up. It is absolutely insane. When a warrior kills the innocent, or children, that warrior is Ronin! I have taken maritial arts, both Karate' and Aido for over 30yrs. I am a sword master and maker. Bushido, means To Serve. Those people who blew up innocents served only their insanity. By the way, I doubt very seriously you have any guns. They are field weapons .50 calibre and over. You have firearms. There is a difference, both in reality and a court of law. I won't go into, the german people first being disarmed, then occupied, then slaughtered, nor the Japanese farmers being disarmed, then occupied, then learning to use farm impliments to protect their families. This is not the place. This is the place to all who read this thread to say, I am horrified, I wish such things never happened, I wish I had the power to make it all go back to the way it had been. Ok, those people really hurt some innocents, and I hope they are discovered and brought to an honourable law. I hope those suffering can find some solace, and peace. I hope they can salvage their lives. I hope someone is there for them. I hope they can find strength. After that, I have no words. Through my lips I lie, through my heart I speak and my heart is too numb to be heard. I wish it was a bad dream. I am sorry it is not.

I fear more blood will be shed before the 'war on terror' is over. God grant our leaders the fortititude to see it through, and grant us all the patience, peace, and comfort in the face of terror and loss.
