Dude, the drive in craze began in Kalifornia! How can you live there and not know?

Well, umm, KD, my ride is a 6 year old saturn. Very boring and not exactly a drive-in machine! If you go I'll rent a limo. It's only about 2000 miles each way and what's a little gas spent on the drive-in? I noticed you explained the family appeal of the drive-in to Fish, however you seem to have neglected explaining the social appeal of drive-ins to Teens and Twenty yr. olds. As I recall parking as far away from the families as possible was required. Then the attraction for the next few hours was the Back Seat. Often you needed to be reminded the movie was over. Oh the days... Joe

um, that was a conscious omission on my part, Joe, yeh, that 2000 mile haul (one way) does indeed put a damper on an evening out. but thatnks, anyway. KD
