Hmmmmmmmm I see a few that I don't think are too funny in there, please don't forget, this is a family forum. Children do come here so I think there's a few you could delete.

Loosk like Fish deleted his post that started the thread, I'm assuming because there were some I thought to be kind of unfit. *sigh*

Ahh I missed it- But I guess we should be careful- and cher- it's ok- My 9 year old reads the forum with me once in awhile and I often have to explain what certain things mean and well it can be a bit uncomfortable at times-

Nothing I ever said worked. I am a dork. It took me a while, but, I figuired out, pickup lines got me involved with people I was not looking for. I never got trust when I spoke from behind a mask. I had a friend however who could dance with a word. He used to make me feel like I was doing something wrong. Today, I would not be him for anything, and he said he was jealous of me! I have turned some of those old pickup lines into sales pitches in my shop. My best one, when a customer comes to the counter and asks "How are you doin?" I respond, "I have gas." When I met my wife, she asked me how I was, I told her "My nose is dripping, my eyes are running, I have gas, and the back of my head was twitching!" She stopped, stared, walked off, came back and said "You are an *****le!" We have been together ever since, and it has been wonderful. We work together, we each have our own opinions, we each contribute to the quality of our lives from our own perspectives. A real good pickup line is, "You are ugly, your feet smell, and you scare small children!" When they stop and figuire it out, they come back, one up you, and you have a friend after some clumsey talking. Usually grovelling, left handed insulting, one upmanship, and creative joke telling. Either that or they go away, bring back large strong friends, and it gets ugly.

"Did it hurt?" "Huh?" "Did it hurt when you fell from Heaven, because you are as beautiful as an Angel"

well, Fish, we don't have too many left around here either but they used to be real popular. huge outdoor movie screen, you pull up to a speaker pole, attach the speaker to your window (later they used to do it with radio frequency) and watch the movie from within the comfort of your own vehicle. they used to have concession stands to buy candy and popcorn and rest rooms, of course.
it was great for families that had a lot of kids and a station wagon, cook up a batch of popcorn and load all the kids (in their pajamas ususally) in the back and it was a cheap night out as they charged by the car and not by the person.
they must have USED to have them in CA at some point??
