Just a note to say that Richard (my father-in-law) died yesterday after his battle against cancer.
He was a Gentleman and a great friend. Always helpful when we needed him - and he never complained once about his illness.
Not everyone is lucky enough in life to have such a great Father-in-law - I was one of the VERY LUCKY ones.
I'm glad I got - what for me - was probably the most thoughtful "Our Father" prayer out ever for him 4 hours before he passed on.
Sad Days.
Mark

Mark, my deep condolences. He sounds like a good friend to you. I hope he passed without the suffering I have seen in others. I lost a friend like that years ago. I, to this day have remembered the times we shared. I am glad you got to know a person like that.

SOO sorry Mark- My prayers go to you and your family- CHerish those memories- I lost my Father-in-law (actually the wife and I were still just dating) very early (he was only 45) and not a day goes by that I don't miss him or think about him- He was also a true gentleman and a friend- be at peace.

What can I say all - thanks for the thoughts.
Richard now has thoughts from around the world. It doesnt get much better than that in these times.
Thanks all.
