hi all awhile back somebody listed a place to buy sheets of rubber and i bought some but sad to say there in storage in capemayNJ hahaha ,, i cant find the linc on my computer and i need a sheet to cover part of my dinette table in the trailer so i can wire wrap there i see i already scratched it up some if anyone remembers the [place give me a yell please thanks ---- sands

Home Depot has it by the yard in the plumbing section. It is primarily for sunken showers, and Jacuzzis. Not too expensive.

im sittin here thinkin about tomorrow im goin there and open the door and pretend its another day and im gonna do some cabs in my new work shop hahaha ill just make alot of noise and if someone comes in cool if not ill get some stock made for next week hahaha

thanks xenaswolf im lovin the idea of just havin a place to go and make cabs and slab rocks so if it gos slow for a few months thats cool ill have time to get some stock ready.. this way it will look like a shop hahaha

I'll be sending a whole lot of positive thoughts your way too Sands, you'll do fine. Now about that rubber at home depot, how thick is that? I was thinking I'd like to get something to put under my saw, kind of cover the little table it's on. I was going to put a garbage bag but my hubby said the saw could slip. Do you think the rubber at home dpot would work? Would it be thick enough that it won't tear and won't slip either?

i got some from the other place i said and you could get it as big and thick as you needed i would think anything 1/8 or better would be ok and it wont let the saw slip around

That would be great Sands, I have to go to the big city of Duluth on Wednesday to see a dentist who specializes in root canals ... can we say arrrgggghhhhhhhh!!! Home Depot is just a mile or so down the road from his office so I could make a quick visit to it.

cher i went to home depot and got a piece of the rubber shower liner its like 4 foot by 3 foot and it was around 12.00 i think its around 1/16 thick and it looks to be good for what im gonna use it for --- if i was you id get something around 1/8 or better to stop the saw from vibbin around this stuff might work but im not sure it seems tough enuff but i dont think it will absorbe vibration very well--- also this stuff fells more like a plastic then a soft rubber like the black stuff i got from the other place --- maybe it was michiganrocks or maybe pho that posted about it i got some for my saw to hang like a curtain in front of the blade to deflect the oil so i could open the lid

gaetz cutdatout your gonna give me a big head hahahaha --- the only cab i feel was worthy of callin a piece of art is the cab that herm won fire and ice now that was a picture from god --- people tell me wow your good at this,, but i can look and pic apart my cabs and feel disapointed hahaha--- maybe someday they will be all worthy of an attaboy hahaha but for now im just tryin to make myself happy and busy hahaha,, but thankyou for the compliment when i do get praize it makes me work alittle harder on the next ones hopin for a better one ya know
