Found a new web browser and downloaded it, works great. As many of you know most viruses are designed to attach Microsoft, ie explorer. Firefox has one great feature, allowing you to open a new window in tab form. Just thought I'd share it, its free! www.mozilla.com/Robert

I've had Firefox for quite awhile now and highly recommend it. Not only does it have the tab feature, it also has a built in pop up stopper. I also highly recommend Thunderbird, mozilla's answer to MS's Outlook Express and other email programs. I'll never use anything else again.
Just make sure you download and install the latest version of java.

Hey Robert, I know why you hadn't seen this, it was before your time. There's quite a few that use it here. Browser Wars

*smile* I would never do that. I'm glad you got into it, it is a great browser. One more thing I like about Thunderbird the email program ... it stops the loading of images from other sites which includes the little 1 pixel tracking gifs.

I've been using Firefox and Thunderbird so long now that I never even think about it being different than others use. I'm a believer in open source software all the way! I also use OpenOffice.org instead of MS Office. OO.o is free as well. As Cher said, to use it fully, you need to have Jave Runtime Environment on your computer. But that's no problem as that is free also from Sun Microsystems. Ron www.openoffice.org/

Hey Herm, it's just the opposite. Firefox and Thunderbird block spyware. You'll be seeing a lot more of these features in IE as they try to catch up.
