Gold filled, because of the colors in the stone. And I don't even wear gold, I just think that's what that stone would look best wrapped in. Good luck, beautiful cab!

I don't think either will do the stone justice. How about silver, but then oxidize it. I think black would look pretty good.

Go with the gold, it'll enhance the colors of the stone.

i agree with the gold. i don't know how to do what toad suggested but that would look good. i saw someone doing it in the silver I class but i was too busy with my own project to check out what they did. but i bet doc knows.

With that piece, I would also do gold. With any earth tones, or the classic blue and gold, I use exclusively gold. With southwestern, I integrate silver, sometimes with gold. Looking good. You folks ought to see the pair we make. Sands on one side of the isle, Jenne and I on the other side. We gonna bring some real art to Floriduh.

I'd like to see the oxidized silver look, it is an antique sort of look that I like. Gold for a woman though, not to be sexist, but the antiqued look is more a man look to me.

I think bronze would go well with that stone.
(Just in case there was any interest in what was going on inside my head)

I think gold would bring out some of the colors too. Can't wait to see it when it's done.

Go Gold! It will add to the colors and make it look really elegant too!
