Just finished the Christmas card thingie for another year. over 100 cards go out, the post man picks 'em up and delevers them to all the vet clinics where they sit on the counter for a week or so and then go in the can. If I send one out nothing is said but if I forget I hear about it for weeks. So in the ned what do I get, well I get the yummy taste of glue.

Ha Ha, I'm tasting that glue myself. I'm printing and mailing all my cards and today is the day. I've been slaving over this hot computer all day now, pushing the PRINT button over and over!! I don't have nearly as many cards as Robert does but I'm much lazier than he so for me it's twice as much work! Some tasty bread helps remove that glue taste.

haha..I can understand that feeling... We do a family calendar every year and send it to all the members.....most never even say thank you or even if they get it in the mail...but forget to send them one and the gripping starts. This is the last time we are sending any out. We put everone's birthdays, anniversary and dates of when a member died onthe calendar. Lot of hard work and cost goes into one of those things. Last year it cost us over $300 to make and mail out 40 calendars....no more...

I can't lick an envelope without thinking that it was the glue that killed George Costanza's fiance on Seinfeld.

Herm!!! LMAO-- the cheap toxic glue!!!!! I once read about roach eggs in envelope glue- If you get a paper cut the eggs could hatch in your tongue- Well went to KD's favorite site (snoops something) and found out it was all a bunch of bull (urban lengend) Kinda like the one where tumbling rocks is bad for your health- and will eventually lead to you not being able to type jkdskjgfrketkghihrejihrqgirehqigre................................................

Dogs are wonderful for licking envelopes. You should get one I make about 12 Christmas cards a year. This year I've only made 9 because I had some left over from last year. But I'll make more if I get in the mood (and save them for next year) This year's cards members.fortunecity.com/alices_workshop/christmascards3.html

Hey, I bet everyone forgot. The best world in the glue was the white school glue! It was sticky, felt really wierd, and best of all, it tasted better than the stuff they loosley called Tapioca! We could eat the glue, our tongues would go to sleep, and it could be eaten with a wooden lollipop stick they gave us to make Lincoln cabins out of. No one ever finished our Lincoln log cabin, but we sure went through a lot of glue! It was white, had the texture of cottage cheese, smelled wierd, and when you got a gob in the back of the head, the hair got really stuck! Of course we would also step on full milk cartons, and get a mouthful of mashed potatoes. We would get our friends to ask someone what we were doing, and they would say I donno. We would then mash our cheeks and spray mashed potatoes. The " announcer" would say we were being zits! Then someone would laugh, blow a milk bubble out of their nose and fall over backwards in their chair and we would have to eat outside. That was great as we would go home and skip the rest of the day. White school glue was the best. Elmers never came close!
