You know, this RTH board is as addictive as the rock hobby itself! At first I just checked the board at nite before I went to bed. A month or so ago I had to start checking it in the morning also. Yesterday I just left the computer tuned in to the board and checked it every hour. Or half hour. Next I'll be dragging a cot over to the computer. Does this qualify as obsessive/compulsive behavior? Oh well, I gotta go figure out how to get two screens hooked up to this computer so I can see two messages at once! Joe

lol you just open 2 rth screens joe then you can flick back and forth. i do this all the time when someone asks a question and i don't won't to lose their post but need to search the rth board for a past thread or post that i know already has the answer.

Yea joe I know what you mean. The worst is going away for a few days and thinking of all the stuff you missed - the best is going away for a few days and having a ton of stuff to catch up on.

LOL I think I can positively say I've been obsessed with it for awhile, like almost since the beginning. First thing in the morning, last thing at night. Coffee doesn't even taste good anymore unless I'm drinking it while reading the rock forum. *smile*

The support of some of the people here has brought me through some tough times. This board is like that vine hanging by the pool of quicksand, you know? It can really help you out! (Wait...or is it the quicksand?

Ya know, I mentioned the words obsessive/compulsion in my original post. 3 of the 4 ads at the top are related to obsession/compulsion. Weird.

lol joe...I think the advertisers are recognizing that we tumblers have a little touch of OCD...maybe it's just acknowledging their demographic?

I do the same thing Joe. My computer is on 24/7 (Always has been, even before I joined this group). I just leave windows up, or drop them down.
Several times a day, I'll pass by the computer to check my e-mail, and while I'm at it I'll come to the board to see if anything is new.

Stefan, do a search for "Free internet" You CAN get free internet the legal way. You just have to put up with banners and ads that you can't close of drop down.
