Had three inches of wet snow last night, so it was time for a new snowman. Hope you all have a safe and fun New Year! Ron

That looks like too much fun to me - we don't even have snow in the mountains to visit this year. S PS: He looks lonely. He needs a 4 legged snowdog there by his side...

all the snow in iowa is covered in ice crunchy. if you try to make a snowball, it cuts your hand. too bad.

Hey Susan, maybe I'll try a snowdog next. Of course, I don't know how long this will last. I used acorns for eyes and a carrot for his nose. Wonder how it will take for the squirrels to find that out?

Awe...what a cute snowman! Have to love those frosty's this time of year! LOL! What is everyone doing on this new year's eve? I am staying home and that's just fine with me. I really don't like being out there with all those drunk drivers and just plain crazy tripping people with guns! No thank you! I am going to enjoy being at home with my animal companions and hubby. The highlight of my night will be finally taking my rocks out of polish after being in there for 4 mths! Whew...what a long time. I can't wait to see how they turned out! Whoohoo! I hope everyone has a good time and safe new year night out there! We all get another chance at a new year. I know it's going to be a good year for all of us.

My night so far consists of trying to find some fire agate in my shop for Nephrite then watching some movies with the missus. Too many looneys and drunks on the road and if I was downtown I'd be too tempted to drink, which is fine, but a cab ride out to my house is $20. (that equals 4 pints!)

Awwww, ain't he cute! Looks like you didn't make much of a dent in the snow there. We got the wet snow last nite, too. And we were just almost rid of the last batch that fell around Christmas (well, except for the rather large plowed piles here & there). We're stayin' in for the night, too. The crazies & the drunks can have the roads all to themselves tonite. Never did quite understand why people get drunk on New Years Eve. Not that I haven't done it myself in years past, but I just did it because everyone else was. And about that ball dropping thing in New York (I think) at midnight - what's with that? Oh well...... Have a Happy New Year no matter how you choose to spend it!!! Pebbles

I took this photo of my snowman after a little warm spell that we had: Things turned colder again, snowed some more, and then a warm spell again. Her is Snowman now: His final words were, "I'll be back!". Ron

LOL Not sure how I missed this thread, cute little snowman you had there for awhile anyway. We stayed in on New Years too, listened to all the business going on over the scanner. Lots of DUI's given out that night, something I don't need.
Sorry your little guy melted Ron, he'll be back with a twinkle in his eye soon enough though.
