OK...since so many have asked me to return to this forum I am but I do so with some reluctance.
The reason I left before was because of the idiots who only want to cause trouble and stir up stuff and people.
I have been keeping up with the postings and see some things I just do not trust.
There is at least one poster who is not who they say they are in my opinion.
I would like to request that everyone please keep your personal battles, bickering and fighting off this forum and let's keep it for what it was intended....for rocks...
For those who have encouraged me to return I thank you.....I only hope I can stay.
...and like Pebbles..I am not concerned in the least about how many stars I might have or what title..I am here to learn about tumbling, slabbing and rocks in general.

welcome back, Pho, ignore the stupid posts and embrace the sincere ones. i wish you the best luck with your upcoming challenges and hope you stay with us here.
that big piece of pet wood you sent to me is still getting "ooohs and ahhs" at my folks house. they get a charge out of fooling people with it.
are you still collecting/selling some?

hi Pho, not really "met" you yet but it appears you are highly regarded around here and I am glad you are back. It seems EVERY board has at least one attention-seeker. Best to just ignore them and concentrate on the positive. And in the short time I have been here, I have seen tons of positive.

Haven't been out collecting lately. The property where I do most of my collecting is being sold. I have talked with the new owners...as soon as all the paperword is done and they take possession they said I am welcome to pick up all the rocks I want....nice folks.

Pho - glad your back - give me a PM with any concerns or anything and Id like a chat with you.
And chill out over what gets your back up etc.
I have a few irritations myself for sure on the net (Not people really just businesses) - but hey - Im here to listen to rocker no probs just give me a shout and dont delete yourself again eh?

Pho, glad you are back. Maybe Sands can show you how to make Intarsia with Pet wood. I have this idea of picture jasper bordered by Pet wood cut like frame lumber.

I'm glad to see you back Pho...You're a valuable addition to this board and a really nice guy. I was downstairs slabbing yesterday for the first time in ages and as I reached for the pet wood I picked up I thought of you and was saddened to think you'd left because of something said here. I'm so happy to see you've risen above the fray and I hope you stay. I think that here on the net, like in life, we so often overlook the really good folks...the ones who are quietly wise and the ones who share and the ones who support...and let the minor irritants get to us. I know I do...I know my feelings get hurt sometimes here but I try to remember the reason I came in the first place and the reason I keep logging on...people like you. I'm glad you're here.
