Just got a call for the so called experts...they said my hard drive crashed....lots of bad sectors and they can't save anything. Well...for once I did back up all my important stuff to a back up drive so didn't lose much. A few programs that I can download from the net again.
Just a reinder to everyone...back up all your important stuff...ya just never know when a drive is gonna head south on ya....
So now it will be "a few more days" before I get my PC back....

I save everything of value to disc. It pays to be cautious. Are they replacing the hard drive, what size? How much ram do you have? Its just as important to have plenty of RAM as having a high capacity HD. I'm no expert but I learned by trial and fire. Pete

Such a drag Pho...sorry to hear it. Do rock picks count among the important stuff you saved?
